Welcome to Blackout FM!

A radio show dedicated to old skool music, with regular, ultra high quality FM standard broadcasts playing the following genres of classics. Belgian Techno, German Techno, Hardcore, Rave, Italian House, Detroit Techno, Electro, Acid and House. (All music pre 1994)

Blackout FM is presented by The EM-IX (Pronounced The M.I.X) It can be subscribed to via simply clicking the iTunes button. (top right of this page – iTunes required) or by many other methods. (See our Audio page)
All past mixes are also readily available for download/streaming via iTunes (192k MP3) or high quality (16 bit wav) via CD. Our shows, as long as not altered or edited in any way shape of form are free to share and redistribute.

Our mixes and production values are the highest available. As such our regular show is one of the best old skool shows available today on the entire planet, if not the!!! As a point of note we do not mix poor quality MP3s downloaded of the internet. ALL of our tunes are either original release vinyl or original release CD from back in the day hence our superior sound quality.

Blackout FM encourages it’s listeners to take part. Guest mixes are welcomed and will be featured on up and coming shows. (Please see the ‘Submit your Mix’ page.)
